As Art Director and Senior Graphic Designer, I led the visual identity refresh for Prismecs to support their aggressive international expansion. The goal was to modernize the brand while ensuring it remained recognizable to their existing client base. I managed the end-to-end creative process by pitching concepts to stakeholders, refining the vision based on feedback, and overseeing the implementation.
CONCEPT
The main challenge was to make Prismecs stand out in a competitive market by creating a look that felt both innovative and established. To achieve this, I respected the brand’s history by keeping their primary color and core logo. I then expanded the color palette to include more sophisticated, modern tones that added depth and versatility. Rather than changing the logo, I found innovative ways to leverage it throughout the brand’s visual language. This approach allowed us to signal a new era of innovation without losing the brand equity they had built.
implementation
Once the visual identity was finalized, I codified the system into a comprehensive brand guidelines book. This document served as the blueprint for the company's internal and external communications. I also designed a suite of sales and marketing collateral tailored to support their global growth. By creating these unified assets, I ensured that every touchpoint of the brand reflected its new, modernized identity while maintaining the reliability essential to the industrial sector.
